  ...omething else too, but Son of a Gun has by far the best endgame of all the ranged weapon traits, pistols don't need accuracy that urgently, and it uses your ...rest, so you don't necessarily have to sigh and discard all the cool rapid weapons you find. You could even dip into Brute later on if you find the cleaver! Y
