We had two shell-box, seventy-five energy cells, high-powered railgun, a spitter full of acid, and a whole galaxy of multicolored mod packs... and also green armor, blue armor, red armor, two nuclear plasma rifle and dozen of large med-packs. Not that we needed all that for the trip, but once you get locked into a serious stuff collection, the tendency is to push it as far as you can.
The only thing that really worried me was the nuclear plasma rifles. There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a doomguy waiting for weapon recharge, and I knew we'd get into that rotten stuff pretty soon.
